Job Description

REQUIRED EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (No 2-year degrees accepted).
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering accepted with 3 years of experience.
  • Internships are NOT counted as job experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience required (with Bachelor's).
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations.
  • Ability to perform detailed calculations for manufacturing, construction, and installation standards.
  • Ability to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
  • Experience with computer applications and design software related to engineering.
  • Risk Identification and Management through structured risk assessments or DFMEA.Desired (Bonus):
  • Functional Safety of Control Systems.
  • Product Certification / Homologation.
  • Data manipulation and presentation tools: MS Excel, PowerBI, PowerAutomate.
REQUIRED
Soft SKILLS
  • Strong verbal and written communication, including formal documentation.
  • Ability to engage with engineers, understand constraints, and find compromise solutions.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to chair meetings and drive progress.
  • Team player with high attention to detail.
  • Basic leadership and mentoring skills to provide support and constructive feedback.
  • Ability to lead efficient product review meetings with clear outcomes and assigned actions.
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Design, develop, and test electrical equipment (machinery controls, wiring, lighting).
  • Evaluate cost effectiveness, reliability, and safety of design models.
  • Estimate time and cost to complete projects.
  • Simulate and test machine/structure/system operation.
  • Investigate and test vendors' and competitors' products.
  • Demonstrate compliance with industry safety standards for electrified products.
  • Conduct risk assessments, standards evaluations, and compliance reviews.
  • Apply sound engineering judgment for product safety and regulatory guidance.
  • Review battery, charger, and powertrain components with design/validation teams.
  • Monitor actions, track progress, and provide regular team updates.
  • Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.
