Job Description
Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Overview Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the plant power distribution systems and provide technical support to the various departments. Interface with the utility company, vendors, contractors, and consultants to oversee installations and equipment maintenance. Responsibilities Ability to drive safety in all aspects of the plant Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures High voltage power distribution up to 345kV, protective relaying, transformer and switchgear maintenance Maintain general plant power equipment Assist with planning and organizing maintenance shutdowns Assist department in safety improvements and initiatives Qualifications Required Strong focus on safety; high level of safety awareness (LOTOTO, TCOS, etc.) and proven safety record;

knowledge Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Organizational, leadership, and communication skills Motivated Self-Starter, ability to prioritize multiple projects Preferred SVC power factor compensation experience HV/MV power, Drives/Controls, Networking, HMI & PLC proficiency Electrical preventative/predictive maintenance experience Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
