Job Description

Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct problems on production equipment, building systems, and utility infrastructure. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on a wide range of production equipment including electrical systems and components. Submit change requests for equipment or process modifications, with supporting documentation showing improvements in reliability, quality, or performance. Maintain accurate documentation, including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, repair logs, and spare parts records. Develop and manage a spare parts inventory for components critical to plant operations. Work closely with the technical team including maintenance and engineering staff to enhance technical knowledge and problem-solving capabilities. Investigate recurring or chronic issues, implement root cause solutions, and contribute to preventive maintenance strategies. Participate in the evaluation, installation, and commissioning of new equipment or upgrades. Coordinate and supervise outside contractors performing service or maintenance on building utilities, fire suppression systems, HVAC, and related infrastructure. Qualifications Technical Diploma or Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred . 4 to 6 years of hands-on maintenance experience required; 6 to 8 years preferred. Proven ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve issues in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Experience managing contractor work related to facility utilities and life safety systems. Strong organizational skills for documentation, spare parts tracking, and reporting. Preferred Knowledge and Skills Familiarity with building and fire codes applicable to industrial environments. Strong knowledge of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety practices. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and numeric control systems . Understanding of key facility utilities including fire suppression systems , compressed air , HVAC , and power distribution . Associates or better in Engineering or related field. Technical/other training or better in Engineering or related field.
