Job Description
Senior Electrical Engineer responsible for leading electrical design for data center and industrial facility power distribution, emergency power, grounding, lighting, and low voltage systems. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Professional Engineer license required 6+ years of engineering design experience with: Medium voltage distribution systems Low voltage distribution systems Building electrical systems Campus-style power distribution Electrical conveyance systems 3+ years of data center facility design experience Experience with data center or AI factory projects Experience designing large greenfield site projects Extensive industrial facility design experience Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software Working knowledge of NFPA 70 and NEC requirements Computer literacy Experience leading electrical engineering teams Experience managing quality, scope, budget, and schedule Preferred Skills Data center power distribution design experience AI factory facility design experience Greenfield industrial project experience Experience with retrofit design for existing building systems Experience designing UPS and emergency power systems Experience designing grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems Experience producing construction documents for complex industrial facilities Experience supporting construction activities on site Job Responsibilities Lead electrical engineering design for data center and industrial facility projects Design facility power distribution systems Design UPS systems and emergency power systems Design grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems Support retrofit design of existing building systems Establish design requirements with multidisciplinary project teams Produce electrical construction documents Provide electrical design work for assigned project areas Contribute to technical collaboration across project teams Perform quality reviews of electrical design packages Assist with additional portions of the design process as needed Interact directly with clients, owners, and contractors during construction Support construction activities on site Coordinate electrical design work with broader multidisciplinary teams Manage electrical design scope, quality, budget, and schedule Review project requirements and develop electrical design solutions for evolving facility needs
