Electrical Engineer - Water & Infrastructure SystemsThe OpportunityA respected, employee‑owned engineering consulting firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in planning, design, and construction support services to join its growing infrastructure team. This role offers the opportunity to work on large‑scale municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater projects, including some of the most significant treatment facilities in the United States.

This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys client interaction, values practical, buildable design solutions, and thrives when solving complex technical challenges in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

What You'll DoAs a key contributor on multi‑discipline project teams, you'll support projects from early planning through final design and construction.
Responsibilities include:
Electrical engineering design for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructureLow‑ and medium‑voltage power distribution systems (up to 34.5 kV)Motor control systems, MCC design, and standby power generationGrounding and lightning protection systemsInterior and exterior lighting designSpecification writing and construction cost estimatingTechnical coordination with project managers, designers, and clientsProviding pragmatic, reliable solutions that meet operational and budgetary needsYou'll play a direct role in delivering infrastructure that serves communities and protects public health.
