Job Summary The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing and developing electrical systems, equipment, and components. This position will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment. They will work with a variety of tools and technologies, troubleshoot problems, and conduct tests to ensure equipment is operating correctly. Job Description
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop electrical systems and components Conduct research to ensure that designs are safe, efficient, and cost-effective Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and standards Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and solve complex problems Install, maintain, and repair electronic control systems and instrumentation Test equipment for faults, diagnosing problems, and replacing or repair defective parts Perform periodic calibration of instruments and devicesREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Requires bachelor's degree and/or 7+ years of experience with electrical systems and components. Experience with CAD software and other engineering tools Basic computer skills (e.g., data entry, Microsoft Excel)Manufacturing preferred Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bending, kneeling, crouching or walk move throughout the manufacturing facility Must be able to climb ladders, access elevated platforms, and work in confined spaces as needed. Capable of lifting and carrying equipment or tools up to 25-50 lbs. occasionally. Manual dexterity to operate tools, instruments, and computer equipment. Visual acuity to read schematics, inspect electrical components, and perform detailed work. Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and hearing protection. Tolerance for working in environments with noise, heat, dust, and varying temperatures. - Seasoned technical contributor; works under limited supervision
- Works independently on a wide range of moderately complex projects and may be responsible for entire projects or processes within team

- Communicates with senior leadership and employees within and outside of department and/or job family on matters that require explanation, interpretation and/or advising; may communicate with external clients or partners depending upon the job area

- Responsible for moderate to significant improvements of technical/business processes, procedures, or systems to contribute to the performance of the team
- Problems are moderately complex, requiring application of broad and deep experience and technical expertise, and may impact multiple departments and/or job family Leadership & Talent Management

- Manages end-to-end projects or processes Knowledge & Experience
- Requires extensive (deep or broad) technical knowledge of specialty area with cross-functional and working knowledge of industry practices/other areas, typically obtained through advanced education and strong experience
