Scope of Responsibility:
We are seeking an early-career Electrical Engineer I to support the design and implementation of electrical systems for modular infrastructure, including data center modules, utility skids, telmunications shelters, fiber distribution systems, and integrated assemblies. Engineers will work in a multi-disciplinary manufacturing environment supporting power distribution design, equipment selection, documentation, special systems integration, and testing. This role will support electrical design tasks under supervision while developing technical skills in modular power systems and manufacturing.
Essential Duties:
Core Responsibilities
  • Assist with electrical load calculations, feeder and branch circuit sizing, voltage drop analysis, and conduit/cable routing design.
  • Support development of electrical documentation including one-line diagrams, panel schedules, schematics, wiring diagrams, and termination details.
  • Participate in selection of electrical equipment such as switchgear, panelboards, transformers, breakers, UPS systems, sensors, and control devices.
  • Develop and knowledge of special systems including fire detection, gas detection, ventilation controls, andmunication systems.
  • Collaborate with drafting teams to produce accurate drawings and BOMs, generating redlines, design markups, and revision updates.
  • Support manufacturing teams with wiring, routing, troubleshooting, and factory testing activities.
  • Learn and applicable codes and standards to project work.
  • Work with engineering, operations, and quality teams to deliver integrated solutions. Technical Competencies
  • Foundational understanding of electrical power distribution fundamentals (single/three-phase systems, grounding, overcurrent protection).
  • Ability to assist with conductor sizing, conduit fill, voltage drop calculations, and equipment selection.
  • Ability to read one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and termination details.
  • Exposure to
NEC/NFPA
electrical codes and safety practices.
  • Manufacturing-oriented design and troubleshooting awareness. Professional Competencies

Position Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field required.
Experience:
0-2 years of relevant electrical engineering experience in modular, industrial, utility, or data center environments.
  • Engineering Intern (EI) / Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification or willingness to pursue.
Skills & Abilities:
  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
  • Exposure to PLC/BAS systems andmunication cabling.
  • Experience with modular, industrial, tel, or data center power systems.
  • Factory testing ormissioning experience
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to perform work in any environment and various weather conditions such as rain, sleet, snow and extreme cold and heat. Must be able to regularly use hands to grasp, pinch or pull materials. Must be able to feel and reach with hands and arms. Must frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch. Must be able to climb in and out of equipment. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
