Job Description

You will be designing electrical circuits and systems consisting of instrumentation, high voltage, power, and control system designs for use in large scale capital equipment. Projects will include New Product Development and Continuous Improvement, and will be a team approach with Mechanical, Software, and other Electrical Engineers. The successful candidate will enjoy a fast-paced environment filled with technical challenges.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Design or modify electrical or electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, drawings, or specifications of difficult scope
  • Identify and troubleshoot a variety of complex electrical problems with limited supervision
  • Define, coordinate, perform and generate engineering test reports with limited supervision
  • Perform engineering analysis of difficult scope with limited supervision
  • Technically lead or execute engineering projects, including the development of key suppliers
  • Implement concepts for a variety of complex product issues and electrical solutions of difficult scope
  • Generate electrical product specifications; specify and review engineering documentation
  • Serve as a resource for junior colleagues; lead project teams, as needed
  • Clearly communicate difficult or sensitive information; build consensus
  • Problem identification and troubleshooting a variety of complex electrical problems with limited supervision
  • Generate electrical product specifications
  • Documentation of electrical parts and assemblies for release into medium volume production systems
  • Cable and harness design
  • Packaging of custom or off-the-shelf components into modular chassis
  • Design of AC power distribution systems and assemblies for use in semiconductor fabrication plants, adhering to safety codes and SEMI standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • BSEE or equivalent
  • 7 years of experience in a related field
  • Limited travel within the US, Asia, and Europe required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of industry best practices, key business drivers, competition in the marketplace, and how your area of expertise integrates with others
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to lead small projects as needed
  • Electrical design experience
  • Experience with schematic capture, circuit analysis, analog circuit design, and electrical code (NFPA, SEMI)
  • Circuit analysis software experience
  • Knowledge of high voltage (100kv+) design
  • Experience with AC power distribution
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting electronics and/or electrical systems
  • RF engineering and PCB design experience

Salary Range:
$108,000.00 - $148,500.00 The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
