Job Description

Electrical Engineer (1633415) -
Summary:
This Electrical Engineer role focuses on architecture, design, component selection, layout, documentation, and debug for power and control systems used in large-scale automation, lab processing, and skid-based power storage equipment. The work includes electrical schematics, panel/control cabinet integration, PLC logic implementation, power distribution design, and production-floor support with assembly/fabrication teams. Requirements B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical discipline, such as Physics. Electrical engineering background involving system/design engineering, installation, system maintenance, and troubleshooting for AC/DC distribution systems, transformers, breakers, MCCs, batteries/chargers/inverters, and control/protective relaying subsystems. Experience using AutoCAD Electrical for schematics and component layouts, with familiarity designing to electrical codes and compliance standards such as IEEE, NEC, UL, NFPA, CSA, FCC, or CE. Responsibilities Own electrical architecture, design, component selection, layout, test, and debug for power/control cabinets and related electrical systems. Create and update schematics, block diagrams, enclosure/component layouts, wiring diagrams, wire run lists, cable drawings, bills of material, and Engineering Change Order documentation. Support PLC integration, power distribution design/debug, and real-time troubleshooting with fabrication and assembly teams on the production floor. Important Notes This role is 100% in person, with a standard daytime schedule. The role requires comfort working closely with panel assembly/fabrication teams and making practical design updates on the floor.
