Job Summary:

Define, develop, and execute comprehensive electrical test plans to evaluate key performance parameters. This role requires expertise in high-frequency electrical testing and an understanding of IEEE, IEC, and other relevant standards. Beyond testing, the Electrical Test Engineer will also manage the electrical test lab equipment, ensuring the proper maintenance, calibration, and operation of critical test equipment, such as vector network analyzers (VNAs), oscilloscopes, time-domain reflectometers (TDRs), LCR meters, and hipot testers. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting electrical performance issues, analyzing test data, and providing recommendations to improve product designs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop, define, and execute electrical test plans for medical cable assemblies, connectors, and specialty cables. Conduct signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), impedance, capacitance, resistance, crosstalk, insertion loss, return loss, and high voltage hipot testing to validate product performance. Perform DC and AC testing on cable assemblies and connectors to ensure compliance with medical, IEEE, IEC, and industry-specific electrical standards. Evaluate EMI shielding effectiveness, dielectric breakdown, contact resistance, and insertion/extraction force testing. Perform accelerated ageing and life testing via temperature/humidity, autoclave and STERRAD testing.

Skills/Qualifications Needed:

Bachelor\'s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or related field. 2+ years of experience in electrical testing, in high-speed cables, connectors, or medical device manufacturing. Hands-on experience with vector network analyzers (VNAs), oscilloscopes, TDRs, LCR meters, and other advanced electrical test equipment

Other Preferred Qualifications:
