JMT Staffing Solutions (Confidential Client) JMT Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading advanced engineering and manufacturing organization to hire a Senior Electrical Engineer focused on industrial cooling and control systems . This position will play a key role in designing and implementing automation and control strategies that ensure reliable and efficient operation of complex cooling equipment. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working across design, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting of advanced control systems. Key Responsibilities Control System Design Design and develop control system architectures for industrial cooling equipment. Create control strategies that adjust system performance based on real-time data such as temperature, humidity, and load conditions. Integrate sensors, PLCs, RTUs, and other control hardware to monitor and regulate system performance. Develop electrical schematics, control diagrams, and process flow documentation. Programming & Commissioning Program and configure PLC-based control systems. Develop and support
HMI/SCADA
interfaces for system monitoring and operation. Lead commissioning activities including testing, validation, and startup support. Troubleshoot control system issues and implement improvements. Project Collaboration Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure solutions meet performance requirements. Participate in design reviews and provide expertise related to controls and automation. Support project planning activities including scheduling, budgeting, and system upgrades. Documentation & Support Maintain accurate documentation for control logic, schematics, and system updates. Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for installed systems. Compliance & Safety Ensure systems meet applicable safety standards and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related technical field. Experience 3+ years of experience designing or supporting control systems in an industrial environment. Experience with PLC programming, automation systems, and
HMI/SCADA
platforms . Technical Skills Knowledge of control systems, automation, and thermal management concepts. Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics and control logic diagrams. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Soft Skills Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced engineering environment. Additional Information Some travel may be required for installations, testing, or troubleshooting. Opportunity to work with advanced cooling technologies and complex engineering systems.
Pay:
