Electrical Engineer Annapolis Junction, MD Pay Estimated:

$38.93 - $43.93/Hour As an Electrical Engineer - FSO Communications Systems, you will support the development, integration, and testing of free-space optical (FSO) communication systems. You will work within a cross-functional engineering team to deliver high-reliability solutions for mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development, integration, and testing of FSO communication systems Perform hardware integration and system-level validation in lab environments Develop and execute test plans and procedures to verify system performance Utilize electrical lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies) for debugging and validation Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance evaluation of electrical systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance and mission readiness

Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) 2+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 6+ months of experience Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, concepts, and applied practices Experience with electrical CAD tools and circuit design/analysis (analog and mixed-signal)

Preferred Qualifications:
