Electrical Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Electrical Engineer with a strong technical background. This role requires an individual who excels in project execution and is not just a passive coordinator. Responsibilities Actively participate in design and testing processes, contributing to system architectures, block diagrams, design trades, and technical decisions. Lead test efforts by writing test plans and procedures, supporting and executing tests, and driving issue resolution and follow-up actions. Derive, allocate, and manage system requirements, even when customer requirements are incomplete or evolving. Produce system documentation, including system descriptions, interfaces, and test artifacts. Coordinate cross-functional teams with strong organizational skills and maintain minimal oversight. Communicate effectively with strong people skills and focus on advancing programs and closing actions. Essential Skills Electrical engineering expertise, including electrical design and PCB design. Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, and Altium Designer. Experience with wiring and harness design for integrated systems. Ability to perform electrical load calculations and support power distribution, wire gauge selection, and fuse and breaker sizing. Part selection skills for connectors, cabling, power components, and protection devices. Ability to conduct and document trade studies considering cost, performance, availability, and risk. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in systems or project engineering with direct ownership of technical decisions. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $62.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
