FCA Group Control Tower & Field Quality Engineer w/ Specialty (Charging & Distribution, Body Electronics & ADAS) are responsible for leading and managing the resolution of warranty issues, with an emphasis on problem-solving, root cause analysis, and validation. This role requires a proactive approach to tackling quality concerns, driving improvements, and ensuring the efficient resolution of warranty-related issues. This Engineer will work closely with dealers, suppliers, and internal teams to confirm issues, propose solutions, and track progress in delivering resolutions This position requires knowledge expertise in one or more of the following advanced electronics systems areas: ADAS, Body Electronics, Power Distribution, Starting, and Charging. Key Responsibilities:
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (product development, supplier quality, and manufacturing) to implement corrective actions. Comfortable leading complex electrical component & systems problem root cause analysis. Conduct vehicle reviews as necessary at offsite locations, such as engineering centers, dealers, and assembly plants, to identify and confirm the root cause Responsible for proposing solutions, validating their effectiveness, and monitoring progress to ensure timely resolution Ensure that relevant service actions are defined and implemented to resolve warranty issues, including Parts Purge, Service Bulletins, Tech Tips, Rapid Service Updates, and more. Adopt a lessons-learned mindset to apply insights across vehicle applications, ensuring they are shared throughout the Stellantis vehicle landscape to proactively prevent issues in future vehicle models. Provide regular updates on warranty-related quality issues, progress on GIMs, and resolution status at necessary quality and leadership meetings.
