Role:
You will collaborate between a Tier 1 lighting supplier's design and engineering facility in Troy, MI and their OEM clients in the Metro Detroit area to manage their warranty claims. You will perform initial analysis, troubleshoot issues and, most importantly, have a strong sense of ownership for handling warranty claims and understanding responsibility for those claims. •Y ou must be able to communicate in both English and Spanish. •
Responsibilities:
Manage warranty parts retrieval to return parts from the customer of warranty return centers to identify OP Mobility responsible parts. OEM customers located in Dearborn and Auburn Hills. Perform the warranty parts logistic arrangement (shipping labels) to send parts to OP Mobility Monterrey Plant for further analysis. Perform basic warranty analysis (Visual, electrical, dunk test). Documenting initial analysis results in our internal warranty return system (WRS). Identify and maintain hardware required to perform basic analysis onsite as the customer as required. Occasional overtime/travel may be required as dictated by the Tier 1 Supplier, Customer Warranty Center or Customer Plant Locations. Access OEM warranty portals for retrieve warranty data to monitoring statistical performance. Participate with warranty team to close the warranty official and no official warranty claims with OEM customers.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in warranty analysis or quality assurance with Ford and / or Stellantis systems. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools. Strong problem solving / root causing. Strong leadership, self-motivation and autonomy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of warranty management software and methodologies. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE) is a plus. Bilingual - must be able to communicate is English and Spanish. •Please submit resume for consideration. •
