Develop and implement control algorithms for electric motor applications within powertrain systems using MATLAB-Simulink and C/C++Process data received via communication network and validate them using standardized methodsSupport diagnostic development and OBD compliance activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality solutions.
Ensure compliance with
Perform pre-verification of the implementation through Model In The Loop (MIL) testing and pre-verification of the generated code, through Software in the Loop (SIL) testingDevelop proto software builds as required and validate on Hardware In the Loop ( HIL) , Dynamometer or vehicle using
Analyze and provide timely response/solutions to the tracked issues;Develop & maintain controls` design documents for assigned software components.
Participate and contribute in daily scrum meetings, regularly track SW development using Agile methodology , actively participate in Big room planning activities and sprint planning sessions Location(s) 1000 Chrysler Drive, Auburn Hills, Michigan 48326,
Engine or electric Motor Controls development in MATLAB/Simulink auto-coding environmentAUTOSAR software development experience using DSPACE SystemDesk and RTEDemonstrated technical problem solvingDemonstrated working level experience in decomposing intended function into controls design documentsStrong overall knowledge of vehicle and powertrain functionsExperience with modeling, simulation, development, testing, calibration and/or validationOutstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Embedded C++ programmingAnalysis of CAN logs, including message counter and CRC calculation and verificationControls design experience to meet

United States Requirements Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or related degree fieldMinimum of 5-year experience in the following:Engine or electric Motor Controls development in MATLAB/Simulink auto-coding environmentAUTOSAR software development experience using DSPACE SystemDesk and RTEDemonstrated technical problem solvingDemonstrated working level experience in decomposing intended function into controls design documentsStrong overall knowledge of vehicle and powertrain functionsExperience with modeling, simulation, development, testing, calibration and/or validationOutstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in with emphasis in core Motor controls, power electronics, and electrical machines.Embedded C++ programmingAnalysis of CAN logs, including message counter and CRC calculation and verificationControls design experience to meet
