Job Description

Description In this role, you'll become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
  • Assist in the development of the electrical hardware for Scout all-electric pick-up trucks and rugged SUVs
  • Be a part of the vision of engineering excellence & source of knowledge
  • Supports development of new PCBA designs by setting up test stations and supporting circuit debugging.
  • Implements repairs/design changes to PCBAs based on test results.
  • Builds, tests, and installs wire cable assemblies.
  • Troubleshoots electrical assemblies using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, arbitrary waveform generators, spectrum analyzers, and RF signal generators.
  • Performs failure analysis of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs).
  • Supports subsystem integration activities by assembling components and/or assemblies.
  • Partner with other concept & systems architect teams to come up with solution to engineering & functional challenges

Additional Skills & Qualifications Must Haves:
  • 4+ years of experience in development, repair or maintenance of electrical hardware, cabling, subsystems.
  • Ability to read and comprehend board and harness level schematics. Use of electrical CAD (Eagle, KiCAD, etc…) is preferred
  • Proficiency with solder station for PCBA rework/repair
  • Experience using electrical lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, arbitrary waveform generators, spectrum analyzers, and RF signal generators
  • Proficient with using hand tools such as screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, and multimeter
  • Motivated individual wanting to work at the cutting edge of electric vehicle technical design, create new ideas and solutions, enjoy hands-on testing
  • Strong interpersonal skills including ownership, self-motivated, problem solving, analytical, team player, innovative, creative, communication skills and ability to develop & mutually thrive in working relationships
  • Proven ability to work in a truly cross-functional and global environment Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Novi, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00
  • $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
