This contract role is scheduled through September 2026, with openings on both day and afternoon shifts. The compensation is approximately $36.00 per hour. Core Responsibilities Examine and process test data to address and fix design challenges. Construct electrical systems and prototypes by applying engineering specifications and electrical theory with precision tools. Ensure the reliability of testing hardware by building, calibrating, and repairing electrical instruments. Work alongside electrical engineering staff to pinpoint and resolve development-related issues. Adjust electrical prototypes and assemblies to fix performance inconsistencies. Organize the operational steps required to test and develop experimental electronic equipment. Operate testing machinery to assess how developmental components perform under simulated conditions, ensuring accurate data collection. Support quality assurance initiatives by performing inspections and documenting improvement recommendations. Draft or update technical diagrams and engineering specs to define the functionality of experimental units. Review design proposals and shop drawings to ensure they meet safety standards and electrical best practices, providing feedback for approval. Maintain and install solid-state equipment and electrical control systems. Oversee team operations by managing work assignments, reviewing leave requests, and conducting performance reviews. Coordinate and track the workflow of support staff to assist management. Organize and manage the daily tasks of support personnel to streamline supervisory efforts. Calculate and document project timelines and budget estimates. Deliver technical support to resolve engineering hurdles throughout all phases of construction. Audit current electrical engineering standards to determine if updates or removals are necessary. Manage contract documentation and coordinate necessary revisions to project plans during the construction lifecycle. Professional Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency with FANUC systems. Practical experience with Spot Weld, Sealer, and MH applications. Familiarity with 3DV is considered a plus. Previous experience with DCS and RP systems is necessary. Candidates must be prepared to maintain a schedule requiring seven days of work per week. Final candidates will undergo a background screening, and a positive outcome is mandatory for employment.
