Core Duties:
Develop comprehensive electrical control system designs, utilizing AutoCAD to draft schematics for both new assembly machinery and equipment retrofits. Collaborate with the engineering department to select necessary robotic welding components, such as dress out packages, cabling, torches, weld guns, tool changers, and maintenance accessories. Ensure the seamless operation of facility equipment by programming and providing technical support for all integrated PLC and HMI systems. This position is a salaried, full-time role that functions under the direct supervision of the Engineering Manager.
Professional Background:
Possess a four-year degree in a relevant field, or demonstrate at least five years of practical industry experience, or provide evidence of a comparable blend of education and professional training. Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing Fanuc programming and Allen Bradley Microview software to support production goals. Maintain technical expertise in Motoman robotic programming to ensure optimal equipment performance.
