Job Description

Job Title:
Sr Electrical Engineer Job Description We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. As a Sr Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing next-generation industrial printing solutions to meet customers' marking and coding needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design an embedded system using the latest SOC application processor and FPGA. Responsibilities Responsible for the electrical design, development, testing, and deployment of the industrial printing system from conceptual design to full production. Develop product technical and design specifications. Lead the design and development of the electrical system of the print controller and printhead. Perform detailed circuit analysis, develop schematics, BOMs, and layouts to create Printed Circuit Board Assemblies, bring up, troubleshoot, and launch PCBA designs into production. Create and maintain electrical design documentation such as schematic diagrams and PCB layout documents. Identify applicable standards and provide an analysis of the design to these standards. Work with Software, Firmware, Mechanical, Test Engineers, and Project Management to ensure a successful product lifecycle. Essential Skills Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, or other relevant engineering degree. 6-8+ years of electrical engineering experience. Expertise with embedded systems, FPGA, power electronics, and system-level designs. Experience with PCB design, layout, and system-level electrical engineering. Proficiency with Altium. Automation experience, ideally from the industrial automation industry. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with high technology printing solutions. Strong circuit design and troubleshooting skills. Open to candidates with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr. 401k Medical and dental life insurance Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Minneapolis,MN.
