Assistant/Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering (three-year fixed-term position)

The department of Engineering and Engineering Technology at St. Cloud State University is accepting applications for a full-time,fixed-term faculty position in Electrical Engineering. The department houses ABET accredited programs in Computer Engineering and ElectricalEngineering. Details of the programs can be found at https://www.stcloudstate.edu/ece/ . This is a three-year fixed-term position. There is also a one-year fixed-term position available in a separate listing.

Minimum Qualifications:

B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Teachingexperience in the areas of analog electronics or digital electronics. Evidence of demonstrated ability to teach and work withpeople from culturally diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering orComputer Engineering. Teaching experience in the area of analog electronics or embedded systems with microcontrollers. Industrial experience in electronics design, embedded system applications. Research experience in the areas of power electronics,power systems, digital control applications, digital signal processing applications, artificial intelligence, or wireless communications. Experience in engaging students in research or development work. Demonstrated ability to develop externally sponsoredprojects. Experience with ABET or other accreditation. Willingness to work overseas.
