Job Description

Electrical Project Engineer / Project Manager A well-established and growing MEP consulting engineering firm is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its team in a leadership-focused role supporting commercial and healthcare projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys managing projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to technically challenging and meaningful work. The ideal candidate will have experience designing electrical systems for commercial buildings and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple electrical engineering projects from design through construction Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders Coordinate with internal MEP teams, architects, consultants, and utility providers Perform code research and ensure compliance with NEC, IBC, and applicable building standards Oversee project schedules, budgets, staffing, and quality control efforts Review engineering designs, construction documents, and technical specifications Support schematic design development including one-line diagrams, load calculations, and design narratives Conduct site observations, review submittals/shop drawings, and assist with punch lists
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering 5+ years of experience designing electrical systems for commercial construction projects Strong understanding of NEC, IBC, and sustainable design standards including LEED Excellent communication and project coordination skills Experience managing multiple projects in a consulting environment preferred Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit Healthcare project experience is highly desirable PE license or path toward licensure preferred Experience with SKM, AGI, and MasterSpec CSI formats is a plus FE Exam completion and/or
LEED AP BD+C
credentials are advantageous

ATIND Pay:
$90,000.00 - $129,000.00 per year
