This pivotal role involves overseeing the maintenance, repair, and safety of the hotel's mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and industrial systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional management capabilities, technical expertise, and leadership qualities to maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for guests and staff alike. Duties Lead and supervise the engineering team to execute preventive maintenance programs across all hotel systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and industrial equipment. Oversee the operation and troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and control systems to ensure optimal performance of building automation systems. Manage the maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and equipment lifecycle for maximum efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues related to high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and safety hazards. Coordinate projects related to facilities upgrades or renovations with internal teams or external contractors, ensuring timely completion within budget. Maintain compliance with safety regulations related to electrical work (including high voltage) and industrial maintenance standards. Prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities, system performance metrics, and safety audits for senior management review. Foster a culture of leadership within the engineering team by supervising staff development initiatives and promoting best practices in facilities management. Requirements Proven management experience in facilities or industrial maintenance within a hospitality or manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience covering both low voltage and high voltage systems. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, Ohmmeter usage, and troubleshooting control systems. Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for scheduling and tracking maintenance activities. Excellent supervisory skills with demonstrated leadership in managing diverse teams in fast-paced settings. Knowledge of HVAC systems installation, operation, troubleshooting, and repair processes. Project management skills to oversee large-scale upgrades or renovations efficiently. Fluency in English with excellent communication skills essential for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors. Ability to read technical schematics accurately and work safely around high voltage electrical components.
