Work Group:
  • Design and development of electrical system wiring harnesses, cable assemblies and the associated wiring groups for small construction equipment.
Typical task breakdown:
Designing, developing, troubleshooting and introducing electrical and electronics components and systems in mobile applications is essential. This would include previous experience using Creo, specifically for cabling /harnessing.
Interaction with team:
The role requires a self-starter with strong technical skills and a desire to develop leadership skills. Candidates must have the ability to communicate technical information effectively and professionally with team members and others in the work group, as well as employees in other business units, customers and suppliers.
Work environment:
Working as part of a team in office (with some work to be performed in prove design build shop and or lab), the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering electrical engineering support to the product groups for use in current production and future machines. The primary responsibility for the candidate is to contribute heavily to current production by supporting manufacturing by providing design solutions to issue resolution. As a secondary responsibility, the candidate will contribute to every stage of the new product introduction process including; requirements capture, specifications, FMEA, design, development, testing, validation and certification.
Education & Experience Required:
Candidates require an accredited engineering degree in any of the following areas: electrical, electronic, computer, mechanical, agricultural or automotive related. Demonstrated experience in the automotive, construction, agricultural, aerospace/aviation or similar mobile equipment industry is extremely desired. 3 years' experience minimum Technical Skills (Required)
  • Creo Electrical Harness routing, Teamcenter database management, Creo Electrical schematics, electrical systems troubleshooting, hands on machine build support (Desired)
  • Requirements capture, specifications development, FMEA, testing, validation and certifications development as necessary Soft Skills (Required)
