Your analytical expertise will be key in refining production processes, reducing waste, and controlling operational costs. You will spearhead collaboration across teams to implement strategic initiatives that address complex challenges and ensure meticulous capital budget management. As the chief authority over maintenance and engineering, you'll champion the performance of equipment, ensuring minimal downtime through the adoption of advanced systems, such as Preventative and Predictive Maintenance and TPM, propelling the facility toward operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include leading capital projects from concept through execution, emphasizing safety and environmental standards, while ensuring timely and budget-compliant results. You will enhance plant capabilities by minimizing disruptions and introducing strategic improvements. Furthermore, you will design and implement sophisticated maintenance strategies that underpin seamless and efficient production, reduce equipment downtime, and boost plant efficiency. As a leader, you will inspire and manage maintenance teams with clear communication, effective delegation, and strict adherence to safety protocols. You will become a key problem solver for operational hurdles, focusing on proactive resolutions that prevent repeat issues. Additionally, your role will involve driving continuous improvement by using Key Performance Indicators to measure and optimize plant functions such as equipment reliability and supplier performance. You will also be responsible for nurturing and developing high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of safety, communication, and diversity through collaboration with HR. Suitable candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a relevant field, coupled with over 10 years of engineering management experience. Leadership in developing teams and a strong grounding in mechanical and electrical technical skills are essential. Experience in handling multi-million dollar capital expenditures, AutoCAD, ammonia refrigeration, and knowledge of advanced maintenance systems is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP, alongside excellent critical thinking and communication skills, is important for this demanding role. Experience in food manufacturing and a willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is essential.
