Job Description:
Responsibilities Support test truck builds and troubleshoot electrical/electronic issues directly on vehicles Perform software updates, controller configuration, and validation activities Install, modify, and replace electrical and electronic components as needed Conduct structured root cause analysis and fault tracing activities Capture and analyze CAN data using tools like Vector CANalyzer Perform diagnostics, measurements, and vehicle functional checks Troubleshoot wiring harnesses, sensors, controllers, and ADAS systems Collaborate with global engineering teams to resolve vehicle issues Create and maintain defect reports, troubleshooting documentation, and vehicle approval documents Support road approval activities and system verification testing Update diagnostic databases and provide continuous improvement feedback Travel within the US up to 20% for manufacturing plant and test vehicle support Required Skills 5+ years of experience in commercial vehicle electrical/electronic systems Strong troubleshooting experience on trucks or heavy-duty vehicles Experience with CAN communication protocols and Vector CANalyzer/CANoe Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostic tools and software flashing Knowledge of vehicle controllers and software toolchains (Prosit preferred) Experience with ADAS sensors and vehicle connectivity systems Wiring harness troubleshooting and repair experience Strong root cause analysis and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently in onsite and remote environments Good communication and documentation skills
