•. This role is critical to creating, modifying, and implementing designs that meet customer needs. You will collaborate across the organization to ensure the delivery of high‑quality forklift trucks. Join our team as we take forklift design to the next level. You will be responsible for the "nervous system" of the truck, spanning from initial architectural concepts through physical vehicle integration. This role bridges hardware, software, and mechanical packaging to deliver efficient, robust, and manufacturable electrical distribution systems.
What you will do:

  • Architecture Design:
  • Define andmaintainvehicle‑level electrical architecture, including network topologies (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and power distribution systems. Develop system‑ and component‑level requirements from truck‑level requirements. +
  • Harness Development:
  • Create 2D schematics, wiring diagrams (WID), and Block Interconnect Diagrams (BID). Experience with Zuken E3 is preferred. +

D Routing & Packaging:
  • UtilizeCAD software (Siemens NX preferred) to route harnesses through complex 3D environments, ensuring proper bend radii and clearance from heat sources and moving parts. +
  • Component
  • Selection:
  • Select connectors, terminals, seals, and shielding based on environmental factors such as IP ratings, EMI/EMC requirements, and high‑vibration industrial environments. +
  • Integration & Validation:
  • Lead electrical system "bring‑up" phases for prototype vehicles, troubleshooting issues and performing bench testing, including continuity, isolation, and grounding. +
  • Manufacturing Support:
  • Draft 2D formboards and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure designs are cost‑effective and easy to install on the production line.

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, ora relatedSTEM field. +
  • Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in wire harness design for industrial vehicles, automotive, or aerospace applications.
