Description Engineer - System Controls About GKN Automotive GKN Automotive is a global leader in conventional, all-wheel, and electrified driveline systems. Role Overview We're looking for a talented Engineer - System Controls to support the development of control functions and parameters for our eDrive and AWD systems. This role is ideal for someone passionate about engineering innovation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Design and validate engineering solutions through feasibility testing and implementation
• Draft and evaluate engineering standards and specifications
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and support solution development
• Design test procedures based on product specifications
• Participate in ongoing training and capability development
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot and optimize system performance
• Manage requirements traceability and verification throughout the project lifecycle What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in engineering systems or controls
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance
• Familiarity with engineering development tools, testing protocols, and specification writing
