About the Team The team focuses on meeting the holistic demands of energy generation markets, including utilities, independent power producers, and emerging non-traditional entrants. By joining this sector, you will help implement sustainable energy solutions that support industries and communities.
Position:
Senior Electrical Engineer In this role, you will:

Serve as a project lead and technical expert, potentially managing teams and administrative tasks on conventional power generation projects.

Develop electrical design deliverables such as one-line and three-line diagrams, motor schematics, breaker control schematics, wiring diagrams, and cable schedules.

Perform complex engineering calculations (e.g., load flow, short circuit, motor starting, arc flash analysis, relay settings, battery sizing).Prepare equipment specifications and bills of materials for procurement and construction.

Create project budgets and schedules, attend site meetings, and provide construction support.

Utilize tools such as Microsoft Office, ProjectWise, ETAP, and AutoCAD for engineering tasks.

Location Ideal candidates are based in or willing to relocate to one of the company's flagship offices in the Midwest or Southeast regions of the U.S.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide guidance on design standards, codes, and internal policies.

Ensure compliance with quality programs and promote continuous improvement.

Prepare complex engineering deliverables and calculations for large-scale projects.

Coordinate with internal and external teams, define project schedules, and manage budgets.

Identify client needs and drivers, support business development, and mentor junior staff.

May oversee hiring, performance management, and workforce planning.

Preferred QualificationsExperience leading utility-scale conventional power generation projects.

Familiarity with NEC and
IEEE/ANSI
standards.

Expertise in electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, breakers, relays, batteries, and cables.

Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.

At least 11 years of relevant work experience.

Active professional engineering license (PE) or equivalent registration.

Work Environment Hybrid or flexible work options may be available after an initial onboarding period, subject to performance and manager discretion.
