Electrical Engineer - Product Owner

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Electrical Engineer with a strong product ownership mindset to lead the development and management of cutting-edge electrical solutions within our product portfolio. As an Electrical Engineer - Product Owner, you will drive the entire product lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to deployment and continuous improvement. Your expertise in electrical systems, combined with your leadership in agile environments, will ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and user-centric products that meet market needs and organizational goals. We are looking for someone with experience soldering small circuit boards that is willing to take their experience and drive an active project we have through the finish line. After the project is complete they will own and drive quality assurance with product and offer technical support. Responsibilities Lead the requirements gathering process by engaging stakeholders, conducting analysis, and translating needs into detailed specifications for electrical components and systems. Manage the product launch and success going forward Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including software developers, hardware engineers, and all appropriate staff members to ensure successful product roll out and delivery Oversee the development lifecycle following SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). Lead efforts in documentation including test cases, requirements specifications, user stories, wireframes, and technical reports using Microsoft Office tools like PowerPoint and Excel. Facilitate communication among stakeholders through clear presentations and updates; promote a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and accountability. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field; advanced certifications are a plus. Experience with small circuit boards and soldering Experience with WiFi and Bluetooth connections and troubleshooting Proven experience in electrical or IoT product development environments. Strong understanding of software development processes, or app development Familiarity with mobile applications development using Java or similar languages Excellent analysis skills combined with leadership qualities; capable of managing multiple projects within fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with technical teams, stakeholders, vendors, and clients across diverse business units.
