We have been designing and producing our products since 1981. ATC Power Systems is looking to onboard a talented, driven, Electrical Engineer with a hands-on committed approach. As a small business, Engineering professionals engage in our entire product cycle. The ideal candidate will have solid experiences in Electrical design. This position will be based at our Merrimack, NH facility.
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as architect for entire power systems, performing studies to optimize various aspects of our systems. Design entire Power Supplies as well as individual DC/DC Converters Design DC/DC Converters for 30-500 Watt Systems or "Total Supplies" up to 3kw. Working knowledge of parts selection for both power devices and control circuits. Knowledge of High Frequency Magnetics Design. Will be responsible for overseeing and improving the process of producing power systems, testing, troubleshooting, and packaging power supplies. Duties will also include supporting existing products.
Minimum Qualifications:
o Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field 5-10 years of power electronics engineering experience Magnetics design Experience in DC/DC conversion, AC/DC front ends Printed Wiring Board design experience Strong communication skills, both written & oral US Citizenship Required No Exception Preferred but not required
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field 10+ years of experience with Military power system designs Familiarity with thermal design, both conduction and forced air cooling Familiarity with the following military standards, 704,1399,1275 and 461 Familiarity with PWB layout software such as PADS along with mechanical programs such as Solid Works for parts fit etc. Ideal but not required.
