This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience working on real-world electrical systems, design projects, and cross-functional engineering initiatives in a collaborative hybrid environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, technically curious, and capable of supporting projects from concept through implementation.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the design, development of MEP construction documents. Support preparation of electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. Collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, and field teams on project execution. Review Shop drawings, Respond to RFIs. Participate in site visits, inspections, and project coordination meetings as needed. Ensure designs and processes comply with applicable safety standards and regulations. Help maintain project schedules, reports, and engineering records. Must be a current New Jersey resident.
Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 1-3 years of professional experience preferred in the field of MEP. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or other electrical design software is a plus. Basic understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and engineering principles. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. EIT certification or interest in pursuing licensure is a plus.
