! We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Chief Engineer to lead our engineering operations and ensure the seamless functioning of our facilities. In this pivotal role, you will oversee maintenance, technical projects, and systems management across manufacturing and industrial environments. As a leader in facilities management, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, implement advanced control systems, and uphold the highest standards of mechanical and electrical performance. Duties Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all maintenance activities across manufacturing facilities, ensuring optimal performance of machinery and infrastructure. Supervise maintenance teams, providing guidance on technical issues related to mechanical systems, electrical networks, HVAC units, and industrial equipment. Manage the implementation and utilization of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, asset history, and maintenance schedules. Oversee the installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and control systems to maintain automation efficiency. Develop and enforce safety protocols related to high voltage and low voltage electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards. Coordinate projects involving facilities upgrades or new installations, including project management responsibilities from planning through execution. Conduct inspections using tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing and ensure all systems adhere to mechanical knowledge standards for reliability and safety. Monitor industrial maintenance activities to minimize downtime while optimizing resource allocation and operational costs. Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance procedures, schematics, system configurations, and incident reports for continuous improvement. Skills Strong management skills with proven experience supervising multidisciplinary teams in industrial or manufacturing settings. Extensive knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and control system troubleshooting. Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for scheduling, tracking, and reporting maintenance activities. Solid understanding of HVAC systems, facilities management principles, and building automation technologies. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience—including working with high voltage and low voltage systems—and familiarity with Ohmmeters for electrical testing. Ability to read complex schematics accurately and translate technical drawings into actionable maintenance tasks. Demonstrated leadership in project management within manufacturing environments; capable of overseeing multiple initiatives simultaneously. Fluency in English with strong communication skills essential for team coordination and stakeholder engagement. Supervising experience in industrial maintenance roles that require proactive problem-solving and strategic planning. $118,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
