Associate Principal (Newark, NJ) Lead electrical engineering design and deliver high-quality engineering design and construction support on projects. Manage team members on a variety of projects in mission critical facilities including data centers, aviation terminals, and commercial and residential buildings. Coordinating project team resourcing to align with delivery milestones by managing and assigning team responsibilities. Prepare risk registers to identify vulnerabilities then have mitigation strategies in place and part of the design. Oversee day-to-day team operations to ensure steady and consistent progress towards milestones. Ensure emphasis on reliability, redundancy, and resilience during design development. Maintain performance standards by implementing quality control checks and performing design reviews on team output. Review and prepare fee and technical proposals and scoping documents and participate in bid opportunities. Provide leadership for the project teams and manage client goals and expectations. Define project deliverables based on scope of work and Code requirements. Act as Engineer of Record (EOR) by signing and sealing documents for construction permitting applications. Engage with clients to understand goals and manage expectations. Provide technical insight to clients to enable effective decision-making. Requires Bachelor's degree plus 11 years of experience.
Salary Range:
