Full-time, on-site Job Overview We are currently recruiting for Electrical Engineers to support large-scale industrial and EPC project work. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Candidates must be comfortable working on-site in Reno during the temporary period, with the ability to relocate full-time if the role converts into a permanent offer. The successful candidate will support electrical design, power distribution, construction documentation and field coordination across complex industrial projects. Key Responsibilities Design and support medium voltage and low voltage electrical systems Work across power distribution, lighting, raceway, grounding and communications systems Produce and review permit drawings, construction drawings and IFC packages Support power system studies including short-circuit, arc flash and coordination studies Review technical specifications, drawings and external consultant submissions Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, architectural and construction teams Support RFIs, submittals, field issue resolution and commissioning activities Ensure electrical designs comply with NEC, NFPA and relevant project standards Work closely with engineering, procurement, construction and project management teams Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline Experience within industrial, EPC, manufacturing, heavy commercial or facility-based projects Strong understanding of medium voltage and low voltage power distribution systems Knowledge of NEC, NFPA and relevant electrical codes Experience with electrical design packages and construction documentation Experience using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, SKM, ETAP, Navisworks or Bluebeam preferred Ability to support construction teams with RFIs, submittals and field coordination Professional Engineer licence preferred, or ability to obtain state registration quickly Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills Ideal Background Candidates may come from industrial manufacturing, EPC, heavy commercial, process plant, energy, infrastructure, semiconductor, battery, chemical, recycling or large-scale facility project environments. Position Details This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position. The role will begin on a temporary basis with the intention of converting into a permanent position if it is a strong fit on both sides. Candidates must be comfortable working on-site in Reno, Nevada and open to relocation if the role converts into a permanent offer.
