Job Description:
Position Summary, Test and Measurement (Electro-optic Test) Co-op This co-op position is based in Rochester, NY and is responsible for performing electro-optic measurements on photonic chips. Key Responsibilities Understand and learn testing procedures for various electro-optic measurements Develop test setups and perform measurements for internal and external projects Develop automation scripts to improve measurement efficiency Develop scripts and tools for analyzing data, extracting parameters, and conclusions Document best working practices and present results to stakeholders
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications, Test and Measurement (Electro-optic Test) Co-op Masters or PhD student in Electrical Engineering or Physics with academic focus in Photonics/Optics Understanding of concepts in electronics, photonics Understanding of test and measurement techniques for electrical and photonics measurements 1-year laboratory experience working with test setups and measurements Experience coding and scripting in Python This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check.
