Job Description:
Seeking a technically strong and execution-focused engineer to support and lead facility and infrastructure projects within a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role is heavily project-driven, with a primary focus on planning, executing, and closing engineering initiatives related to HVAC systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), and facility airflow/pressurization systems. While the primary focus will be on HVAC and facility infrastructure projects, the role will also support execution of other site engineering and facilities initiatives as needed, based on business priorities. The role requires an individual who can step into an active project environment, quickly assess project status, and take ownership of projects that are already in progress or require immediate initiation. Projects are executed under aggressive timelines and require strong ownership, urgency, and accountability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred, Electrical or related considered) Minimum of 8+ years of engineering experience in a cGMP or regulated manufacturing environment, including direct experience with facility/utility systems (e.g., purified water, HVAC, BMS) and/or manufacturing and process equipment Proven ability to lead capital projects and cross-functional teams. In-depth experience working with facility and utility systems such as purified water, HVAC, and Building Management Systems (BMS) Strong ownership mindset with ability to drive projects and technical decisions independently Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex systems and implement effective engineering solutions Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar tools, including the ability to review and modify layouts for facility systems, utilities, and equipment installations
