Job Description

Job Summary This role involves designing and supporting control systems used in manufacturing environments. The Control Engineer will develop pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams, design control panels, create PLC and HMI software, and provide technical support for system installation, debugging, and start-up activities. The position also requires collaboration across engineering teams and supporting plant personnel during deployment. Key Responsibilities Engineer and design pneumatic piping diagrams. Engineer and design electrical wiring diagrams. Engineer and design hydraulic piping diagrams. Design electrical control panels. Develop programmable logic controller (PLC) software. Develop human-machine interface (HMI) software. Support system tryout, debugging, and start-up activities. Provide technical support for installation of tools and equipment. Provide technical support during training of plant personnel. Travel to plant sites as required to support system deployment. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical field. 5-7 years of relevant engineering experience. Proficiency with programmable machine controls hardware and software. Proficiency with servo drive hardware and software. Proficiency with AutoCAD. Familiarity with basic electrical standards. Familiarity with safety standards. Ability to oversee tasks and coordinate work effectively. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting control systems in manufacturing environments. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
