Full-time Job Description What You''ll Be Doing:
Design, develop, and implement PLC-based control systems for automated equipment using Allen-Bradley platforms. Lead hands-on troubleshooting of complex electrical, controls, and automation issues directly on the production floor, including potential off-hours support when critical equipment goes down Drive automation initiatives by identifying manual processes and designing automated solutions using PLCs, robotics, servo systems, and pneumatic controls to improve safety and efficiency Design and layout electrical control cabinets, specify components, and determine optimal solutions (air actuated vs. servo driven) based on accuracy and performance requirements Develop and modify PLC logic, HMI screens, and control system software while maintaining clean, accurate documentation and disciplined change control practices Collaborate closely with Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to diagnose system-level issues and implement robust, long-term solutions Support equipment commissioning, startups, and continuous improvement projects across diverse applications including lasers, brakes, and robotic systems Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs to ensure designs comply with safety standards and internal engineering practices What You''ll Need to

Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering Experience with or strong willingness to learn Allen-Bradley PLC platforms and Studio 5000 programming Hands-on troubleshooting mindset with ability to work directly on the manufacturing floor diagnosing and resolving issues in real-time Strong problem-solving skills across electrical, mechanical, and software systems with system-level thinking about how components interact Genuine passion for controls and automation - someone who gets excited about the technical challenges and variety of the work Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control drawings Early to mid-career professional who is eager to learn and grow within a mentoring-focused engineering culture Zafar Khan Technical Recruiter
