Job Description

Electrical Controls EngineerPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of control systems for various applications. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that electrical systems meet the necessary specifications and performance requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop control systems for electrical applicationsCreate and review electrical schematics using AutoCADCommission and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systemsWork with Allen Bradley systems including RSLogix and FactoryTalkEnsure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulationsConduct wire sizing calculations and voltage assessmentsIntegrate communication protocols such as ControlNet, DeviceNet, and EthernetCollaborate with mechanical engineers on hydraulic and pneumatic systemsProvide technical support during the installation and maintenance of electrical systemsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldProven experience as a Controls Engineer or similar roleStrong understanding of control systems and electrical design principlesProficiency in AutoCAD and electrical schematicsExperience with PLC programming and HMI designFamiliarity with Allen Bradley products and softwareKnowledge of communication networks including ControlNet and DeviceNetBenefits
