Electrical Engineer (RF/Microwave) - New Graduate (Class of 2026)

Only candidates graduating with a BSEE or MSEE in 2026 will be considered Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer graduating in 2026 to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for a May 2026 graduate eager to begin their engineering career immediately in a hands-on, design-focused environment. The Electrical Engineer will support the design, prototyping, testing, and production of advanced RF and microwave components , working across the full product lifecycle. This position offers exposure to real-world manufacturing, direct customer interaction, and the opportunity to see designs evolve from concept through finished product. Key Responsibilities Design passive RF and microwave components, including high-power, wideband directional couplers and combiners Perform electromagnetic (EM) simulations to design and validate complex RF/microwave structures Create and refine RF circuit layouts using CAD tools Build, test, and debug PCB prototypes to validate electrical performance Apply RF, microwave, and PCB design principles to develop reliable hardware solutions Conduct RF testing using network analyzers and related measurement equipment Support projects from initial concept and prototyping through production release Participate in production and fabrication activities related to RF circuit designs Collaborate with customers during technical discussions and incorporate feedback into design improvements Work closely with internal engineering, manufacturing, and test teams to resolve design or production issues Document designs, test data, and design changes for manufacturing and long-term product support Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering ( must be graduating in 2026 ) Strong academic performance (preferredGPA:
3.4 or higher) Coursework and foundational knowledge in RF and microwave engineering Understanding of passive RF/microwave components and theory Experience with PCB design and layout fundamentals Ability to build and debug PCB prototypes Experience or academic exposure to EM simulation tools Hands-on experience using network analyzers or RF test equipment (academic or internship experience acceptable) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Preferred / Additional Qualifications Experience with Microwave Office or similar EM simulation software Familiarity with AutoCAD for layout or mechanical integration Experience with SolidWorks , Inventor , or similar 3D CAD tools Exposure to RF filters, power components, couplers, and related RF electronics Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in parallel Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with customers Interest in a contract manufacturing environment with diverse RF products and applications Work Environment & Culture This role is based onsite in a manufacturing environment within a mid-size company . You will join a collaborative engineering team of approximately eight engineers , offering close mentorship, hands-on learning, and daily interaction with production and fabrication teams. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
