Your expertise will drive the development of robust electrical solutions, supporting our mission to deliver high-performance technology across diverse applications. Responsibilities Develop and execute detailed test plans for electrical systems, PCB assemblies, FPGA-based modules, and embedded firmware. Perform root cause analysis on system failures using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, and signal processing techniques. Design and implement test setups utilizing CAD tools like AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks to create schematics and layout diagrams. Conduct debugging of hardware and firmware issues in embedded systems using SystemVerilog, C++, Python, MATLAB, or Perl scripting. Collaborate with design teams to refine system design by analyzing test data from signal processing, vision inspection systems, or surface mount technology (SMT) assemblies. Support manufacturing processes by establishing testing protocols for surface mount technology (SMT), soldering quality assurance, and surface mounting inspections. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ARM microcontrollers, Arduino platforms, or FPGA modules to develop automated test routines. Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and troubleshooting steps to ensure compliance with industry standards such as NEC. Assist in project scheduling to meet development milestones while balancing multiple testing activities efficiently. Qualifications Proven experience in electrical systems testing within manufacturing or product development environments. knowledge of PCB design principles, schematics creation, and CAD tools such as AutoCAD or Revit. Hands-on experience with FPGA programming (SystemVerilog), firmware development (C++, Python), and signal processing techniques. Familiarity with industry standards including NEC regulations and best practices for electrical safety. Skilled in debugging hardware issues using tools like oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, vision inspection systems, and multimeters. Mechanical knowledge related to surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and mechanical assembly processes is a plus. Ability to perform root cause analysis efficiently while managing project schedules effectively. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ARM microcontrollers, Arduino platforms or similar embedded systems.
