Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership- Provide day to day technical leadership for electrical engineers and designers, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency across projects. Control System Design
- Lead the design and development of electrical control systems based on customer specifications, selecting components and defining testing methods.
PLC & HMI
Programming- Oversee development, troubleshooting, and optimization of PLC and HMI programs to ensure reliable automation performance. Technical Problem-Solving
- Drive resolution of complex technical challenges and establish scalable, long term solutions. Compliance & Standards
- Ensure all designs meet UL 508A, NEC, IEC, and internal engineering standards. Mentorship & Development
- Coach and develop engineers through regular feedback, technical guidance, and career development support. Workload & Resource Planning
- Assist in prioritization, delegation, and balancing of engineering resources across projects. Design Reviews & Best Practices
- Lead Design Reviews and drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, templates, and standards. Customer Collaboration
- Act as a senior technical point of contact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver best in class solutions.
What We're Looking For:
Expertise in Electrical Controls & Automation- Experience designing, programming, and implementing control systems for industrial applications.
PLC & HMI
Proficiency- Hands-on experience with RSLogix, Studio 5000, Siemens TIA Portal, or similar platforms is a must. Software Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or comparable design software, Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook; EPLAN experience is a plus. Proven Leadership Experience
- Experience leading engineers, mentoring team members, or managing technical teams. Strong Troubleshooting & Technical Aptitude
- Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical and automation-related issues. Self-Sufficient & Detail-Oriented
- Works independently with a high level of integrity and attention to detail. Effective Communicator
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional presence when working with customers and internal stakeholders. Ownership Mindset
