Job Description

Job Description Summary At GE Vernova, we are electrifying and decarbonizing the world. GE Vernova is accelerating the path to more reliable, affordable and sustainable energy. As a member of the Generator & Electrical Systems team, this role will be responsible for design and active contributor to the electrical engineering community as an expert, as well as performing firsthand engineering on projects. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Lead engineering project execution for electrical equipment, interconnections, electrical system engineering and related electrical disciplines. Prepare and review specifications, wiring diagrams, and arrangement drawings in compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards. Verify engineering calculations, concepts, and technical sizing. Own On-Time Delivery (OTD) and ensure design quality and scope compliance. Lead resolution of technical issues for internal and external stakeholders. Review and lead project deliverables for technical accuracy and compliance. Development of engineering guidelines, design criteria, and specifications. Lead root cause analysis, design reviews, and implementation of design changes. Support site issues, commissioning, and engineering-related troubleshooting. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of project outputs. Promote lean practices and continuous improvement in design work and standard work practices. Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems, or Power Systems. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Strong background in electrical design and analytical problem-solving. Proven ability to drive projects to successful completion. Ability to interface effectively with cross-functional teams and external customers.

Relocation Assistance Provided:
Yes For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $98,400.00 and $164,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility:
