Senior Electrical Engineer Job Description The Senior Electrical Engineer will work collaboratively with a team of engineers across various disciplines to deliver complex circuit designs for smart glasses and head-mounted display (HMD) products. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a proactive attitude to solve challenges. The position supports the R D - Electrical Department to meet
ISO 9001
2015 standards, aligning with the quality objectives set by the management. Responsibilities Design schematics and layout PCBs for digital circuits in smart glasses and HMD products. Collaborate with PCB fabrication and SMT vendors to develop finished PCBAs for prototypes. Test and debug new hardware to ensure functional correctness and reliability. Produce technical documentation for design requirements, testing, and validation. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop electronics for constrained products. Participate in cross-discipline design reviews to optimize product implementation. Ensure compliance with
ISO 9001
2015 standards and complete necessary training. Essential Skills Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related field. 6 years of experience in a relevant technical field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with hardware design from concept to implementation. Experience in implementing and debugging high-speed designs. Understanding of hardware/software interfaces. Proficiency with CAD software such as Altium Designer and Cadence. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with C programming language and microprocessor development. Experience with soldering and board rework. Experience in analyzing and debugging complex hardware using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team through all phases of product development. Excellent communication skills to articulate problems and solutions effectively. Work Environment Join a small, dynamic team engaged with AI and Big Tech companies, handling multiple projects simultaneously. Work alongside two Senior engineers with over a decade of experience each, in an environment that values collaboration and innovation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Henrietta, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $72.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
