This role is pivotal, providing expert leadership in enhancing system stability and equipment performance in support of continuous operations at two production sites and an on-site Air Separation Unit. As the driving force behind electrical system reliability, you will spearhead efforts to mitigate equipment failures and reduce downtime, while reinforcing strong Electrical Mechanical Integrity standards. Acting as the primary expert for electrical systems, you will collaborate seamlessly with maintenance, operations, and reliability teams to ensure the seamless operation of plant activities, focusing on both immediate needs and strategic asset management. Your role includes, but is not limited to: Leading the charge on electrical reliability initiatives, from substations to transformers. Conducting thorough analyses of failures, guiding best practices for safety and production. Offering immediate technical support during operational disruptions, working hands-on with critical components like motors and power systems. Managing processes for system upgrades, ensuring adherence to Management of Change protocols. Formulating and refining maintenance strategies to prevent potential hazards and extend equipment life. Maintaining engineering standards in compliance with recognized codes and industry leaders. Providing critical input for capital projects involving electrical system design and commissioning. Supporting instrumentation systems when necessary to ensure comprehensive plant operations. As a candidate, you should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of seven years in a related industry such as chemical or heavy industrial manufacturing. Expertise in power distribution systems paired with hands-on reliability program experience is crucial, as is familiarity with established electrical codes and safety practices. The role offers a competitive salary, relocation assistance, a 20% company bonus target, and a robust retirement contribution plan. This opportunity is within a globally recognized chemical company known for fostering work/life balance, professional growth, and a collaborative workplace. Nigel
