Batavia, Ohio Area Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of industrial electrical systems for custom power distribution and enclosure-based solutions. This role will focus on electrical design, control systems integration, power distribution, and project execution within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with industrial electrical systems, control panels, power distribution equipment, and engineered manufacturing solutions. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring collaboration with manufacturing, production, project management, and customers to deliver high-quality electrical systems and engineered products. Experience with industrial control panels, UL 508A standards, NEC compliance, and power distribution systems is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Design and develop electrical systems for industrial enclosures, power distribution equipment, and control systems Create and maintain electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and BOMs Support design and integration of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial control components Ensure designs comply with NEC, UL 508A, and applicable electrical safety standards Perform electrical load calculations, component sizing, and short-circuit/current rating evaluations Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to support fabrication and assembly processes Troubleshoot electrical issues during manufacturing, testing, and commissioning Work directly with customers and internal teams to support project requirements and technical solutions Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, safety, and manufacturability Assist with documentation, engineering changes, and technical project support Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical engineering or power/control systems Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and power distribution Experience designing industrial control panels and electrical assemblies Knowledge of UL 508A, NEC, and industrial electrical safety standards preferred Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar electrical design software Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation systems Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and project coordination abilities Preferred Experience Experience within industrial manufacturing, custom fabrication, switchgear, or enclosure systems Background working with UL-listed industrial control panels Familiarity with SCCR calculations and industrial control panel standards Knowledge of power distribution systems and control panel integration PE License is a plus but not required Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $100,000
