Job Description

Electrical Engineer III Cincinnati, OH An established engineering consulting firm is hiring an Electrical Engineer III for its Manufacturing Project Group. This onsite role provides electrical engineering expertise on industrial and manufacturing facility projects from concept through completion. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams, provide technical leadership, and support business development through proposal work and client engagement. Schedule Full-time, onsite. This role is based out of the Cincinnati, OH office, with Lexington, KY and Louisville, KY also available as office locations. Up to 25% domestic travel may be required. What You'll Do You will design and support power distribution systems for manufacturing and industrial facilities, including motor feeders, starters, building power systems, and lighting systems. You will also develop designs for specialty electrical systems such as emergency power, generator systems, UPS systems, ground fault protection, and lightning protection. Day to day, you will prepare engineering calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documents, and perform voltage drop, short-circuit, and arc flash analyses. You will coordinate project activities with engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders, and ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. Beyond technical design, you will build and maintain client relationships throughout project execution, participate in proposal development and business development initiatives, and provide technical leadership across project planning and execution. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, and clients to deliver projects successfully. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum of 8 years of electrical engineering experience Professional Engineer (PE) license, or willingness to pursue licensure Experience designing electrical systems for industrial, manufacturing, or commercial facilities Experience with infrastructure design for manufacturing facilities Knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD Comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, civil, and structural construction practices Strong knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards, including NEC, NFPA, NESC, and
ANSI/IEEE
