Electrical Revit Technician

Electrical Revit Technician, Columbus, OH Description Seeking an Electrical Revit Technician to support the electrical engineering department in the design and production of construction documents. This role will focus on developing and maintaining Building Information Models (BIM) using Revit, assisting engineers with electrical system layouts, and ensuring high-quality deliverables across a variety of project types. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career looking to grow within a consulting engineering environment and gain exposure to complex building systems and multidisciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Revit models for electrical systems including: power distribution, lighting systems, fire alarm systems, low-voltage systems
• Produce 2D construction drawings and 3D models from engineer markups and sketches
• Assist in the creation and management of families, templates, and BIM standards
• Prepare construction document packages including plans, schedules, details, and diagrams
• Maintain organized file structures and version control for drawings and models
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, designers, and other disciplines (mechanical, structural, civil)
• Incorporate feedback from internal reviews and external stakeholders into model updates Skills & Qualifications
• High school diploma
• Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
• Associates degree in CAD, engineering or related is a plus
• Prior experience with electrical drafting and/or BIM workflows is a plus Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00
