Job Overview § Test System Design

• assist engineering with test system design and custom circuit board development § Create & maintain drawings
• electrical, mechanical, and schematics § Develop deliverable documentation
• as-built configuration including Bill of Material, user manuals, and test procedures § Prototyping
• setup and test prototype hardware, suggest electrical design changes § Assist with assembly activities
• create work instructions, provide assembly guidance, and perform assembly inspections § Perform test system integration
• validate system tests to design parameters, suggest hardware/software changes if needed Duties Design and develop electrical systems, schematics, and PCB layouts to meet project specifications.

Conduct root cause analysis on electrical failures or system malfunctions to identify issues efficiently and implement corrective actions. Collaborate on project scheduling to ensure timely delivery of milestones while managing multiple tasks. Solder surface mount technology (SMT) components accurately using soldering techniques; perform debugging with ohmmeters . Support manufacturing processes by creating detailed electrical schematics, working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and ensuring compliance with NEC standards. Engage in mechanical knowledge integration by coordinating with mechanical engineers on surface mount technology assembly and system design considerations involving ARM processors or Arduino platforms. Experience Proven experience in electrical engineering with a strong background in circuit design, system design, and firmware development. Demonstrated ability in root cause analysis, debugging electronic circuits, and troubleshooting electrical systems efficiently. Knowledge of manufacturing processes including surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and quality inspection methods. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ARM microcontrollers, Arduino platforms, or similar embedded systems is highly desirable.
